This weekend we went to Chatham Friday night, Saturday morning and super-early on Sunday morning to see Jack’s baseball team play. They didn’t win any of the three games but Jack pitched well and had a nice hit for a double that drove in some runs. He has a track meet tonight in Rushville. The sports are never ending this time of year.

Travel ball has been a pretty good experience so far. Jack is having fun, and we’re not putting any pressure on him to be a superstar or anything. I just want him to hustle and do his best and try to improve his skills. I’m also glad we have a Tesla and charge it at home; these trips would get pricey if we had to pay for gas. We bought a little wagon to pull the lawn chairs and blankets around. Now we look like official travel ball parents lol. I’m still not going to buy one of those personal pop up tent dealies.

We’re looking to book a Disney cruise for next summer. That will probably be our only trip next year. But it sounds like a blast.

Emma had a track meet Friday in Rushville. We drove over and watched her run the 3200 meter and then bolted over to Chatham for Jack’s ballgame. When Jack’s game was over we could have drove back to Rushville to see Emma run again. That’s just how late the Rushville meets go. She didn’t get home until about 10PM.

Elsa was basically an only child all weekend as she stayed home Friday and Saturday. She doesn’t mind though.

Laina is getting ready to go to Hawaii in a couple of weeks. She’s my millionaire-in-training, the queen of hustle. I can die a happy man knowing that most of my (hard learned) financial acumen has rubbed off on one of my kids.
