Updates 4/21/23

Wow, it’s hard to keep a blog up to date. The days go by so quick and before I know it, it’s been like two weeks since I posted anything. When I created this I thought I’d be posting interesting (to me) content every day. But I’ve since learned that it takes a long time to compose my thoughts and write them down in a sensible manner.

Jack’s back is better; he got released to play sports again. He has a ballgame tonight in Chatham and then at least one more tomorrow. It’s going to get cold again, which stinks. But I’m really glad he is back to running and playing ball. It was pretty depressing when we went to the game in Jacksonville last week. He was all suited up but couldn’t play. It’s depressing because he really wants to play. It would be different if this was an activity that he does just to make his parents happy.

I got this bitchin’ Yamaha RGX A2 guitar this week. I love it because, in all of my fits and starts in building my own guitars, this is the closest to the vision I have in my head. It’s super light, has barrel tuners, fixed bridge, 22 frets, and just looks unique. It makes me kinda miss my old Parker Fly guitar but I’m still glad I sold it. It was just a museum piece for me. I like playing this Yamaha more than that. It’s crazy because I ordered this from a shop in the Netherlands through Reverb last week, and it only took like four days to get here. It’s a small world after all, I guess.
