After working out and eating more sensibly, I’m happy to discover that my weight went to down to 179 lbs today! I was hovering around the 186-189 range lately. I’ve been wanting to get toned up at least for our summer vacations.

I was 165 lbs when I graduated. I held that weight until I was 30, then my weight was 175. Then I was that weight until my metabolism finally said goodbye for good. around the age of 36.

Cutting out soda completely probably accounts for 4-5 pounds of loss. Then I limit my meals to more reasonable portions instead of eating to the point where I have to unbuckle my pants. I’ve also been running and lifting weights for a half-hour every day. This was hard at first but after the first week I got used to it. Now I’ll have to increase my workouts if I want to keep “feeling the burn.”

I’m happy!
